Title Great Presentations at Cambridge Day in Seoul and Busan 2011.11.17
e-future participated in this year’s Cambridge Day. There was a great turnout in both Seoul and Busan as hundreds of English teachers came to watch the presentations that focused on a variety of topics relating to English language teaching.

Professor Kim Jeong-ryeol, from Korea National University of Education, described the scope and sequence of the National English Ability Test (NEAT) which is in the process of being rolled out nationwide. It is clear from the response that there is a buzz around the test that is set to replace KSAT in 2015. For more information about NEAT and e-future’s line of test preparation materials visit neat.e-future.co.kr where information is now available (currently in Korean only).

Ian Bosiak, from e-future, presented ideas for incorporating interactive digital technology into the classroom. He also announced the partnership between e-future and OIC (a subsidiary of KT) in the development of apps for English language teaching and learning. The adapted slides for this presentation can be found attached [here].

  • I found them interesting and I think kids would, too. The characters are realistically portrayed with believable dialogue in situations a real kid could find himself in.
